Tilt Renewables (formerly Powering Australian Renewables or PowAR) is a renewable energy platform designed to drive development of large-scale renewable energy projects across Australia.

The strategic partnership that established the former PowAR was the first of its kind and resulted in the successful investment in four generation assets (solar and wind) with a total capacity of 808MW.

Through the acquisition of the Australian assets and operations of Tilt Renewables in August 2021 and subsequent rebranding of PowAR, the combined Tilt Renewables entity now has more than 1,300MW of operational renewable energy capacity across nine geographically diverse wind and solar generation assets. It is currently the largest wind and solar generator in the Australian market.

This transaction also provided the business with a significant high-quality development pipeline, which at over 3,500MW will see Tilt Renewables continue to play a key role in the decarbonisation of the Australian energy market.
