The Port of Brisbane is Australia’s largest multi-cargo port and third largest container port by volume.

It is the sole container and general cargo port servicing Brisbane (Australia’s third largest capital city) and northern New South Wales. As the primary trade gateway for the region, it is responsible for approximately 95% of all container and motor vehicle volumes.

It houses three container terminals, as well as facilities servicing a broad range of other businesses across motor vehicles, and wet and dry bulk commodities, resulting in diverse revenue streams. It is a ‘pure’ landlord port and generates revenues through third parties, using its assets which include channels, land, wharves and other infrastructure (including a dredging fleet).
