QIC London OfficeNicholas Stockdale joined QIC in November 2021, based in London. As a Partner and Head of Europe, Nicholas is responsible for the origination, structuring, and asset management of European investments for QIC Private Debt Infrastructure.
Nicholas has over 25 years’ experience in project and infrastructure finance, specifically originating, structuring, executing and asset managing structure/project finance and corporate financings. His experience spans senior and junior debt, in both private and public markets across the Power, Utilities, Infrastructure and Telecommunications sectors.
Prior to joining QIC, Nicholas was Deputy Head of Infrastructure Debt Investments at Whitehelm Capital, where he was responsible for building and growing Whitehelm’s infrastructure debt business from establishing fund structures and capital raising, through to origination, execution and asset management of investments. Prior to Whitehelm he worked at Barclays Investment Bank for 16 years.
Nicholas holds both a Bachelor of Chemistry and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Exeter, and additionally is ACA qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in 1997.
