QIC Brisbane OfficeMichael joined QIC in 2011. He has overall responsibility for QIC Infrastructure’s legal function and brings a deep understanding of strategic and commercial legal considerations to new investments, divestments and asset management activities across the transport, energy and social sectors.
While at QIC, Michael has played a key role in acquisitions and complex asset management initiatives across the portfolio and is currently a director of Queensland Hydro.
Michael has over 25 years’ experience as a corporate/commercial lawyer in New York and Brisbane with extensive experience in direct equity investing, M&A, joint ventures, consortium arrangements, co-investments, investment structuring and capital raisings.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology and is admitted to practise in Queensland and New York.
