QIC Brisbane OfficeMarayka is responsible for Fixed Income Strategy including sustainable investing within the Liquid Markets Group. She joined QIC in 2002 from EY, initially to establish the in-house legal capability before joining the fixed interest team. With a background in credit research, trading, and portfolio management, Marayka’s credit experience crosses most industries.
Marayka is a member of UN PRI’s Global Sovereign Debt Advisory Committee, ASFI’s Leadership Working Group and sits on the Investment Committee for the Student Investment Fund at Griffith University. Marayka has been awarded a KangaNews “Market People of the Year” Award for contributions to the Australian fixed income market.
Marayka holds a Master of Laws from the University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law NSW, and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments from Finsia.
