Katrina has 30 years' experience in financial services and is responsible for originating research, building new capabilities, product innovation and product governance at QIC. In the last three years she has brought several new capabilities into the QIC fold, including private debt, natural capital and social housing.

Prior to joining QIC in 2006, Katrina worked for JP Morgan in a variety of roles in Melbourne, Sydney, New York, London and Tokyo, predominately in structured credit.

Katrina has a passion for empowering young women in STEM disciplines, particularly finance. In 2020 she received a commendation for Women in Leadership Excellence as part of MBA graduation for her commitment to gender diversity in finance. She is co-chair of the Alumni Committee for the Business, Economics and Law school at the University of Qld, and patron of the Qld Theatre. She mentors elite professional female athletes via the Minerva Network and is a member of the Advisory Board of UQ's Trust, Ethics and Governance Alliance.

Katrina has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Queensland.
