QIC Brisbane OfficeCharlotte leads the QIC Legal Team and is responsible for the provision of legal services and advice across QIC’s investment management business in Australia and internationally.
A banking and financial services lawyer by background, Charlotte specialties include banking and financial services, risk management and corporate governance, employment, corporate and commercial law.
Admitted in 1997 and with over 25-years’ experience, Charlotte’s previous roles were in legal private-practice most recently with the Herbert Smith Freehills’ Banking and Financial Services team where she focused on debt transactions for lenders and borrowers, financial services and personal property security. She joined QIC in 2017 making the transition to an in-house role and becoming General Counsel – Corporate in 2018.
Charlotte currently holds a practicing certificate in Queensland and is admitted in Queensland, New South Wales and England and Wales. Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University.
