Mr King has more than 40 years’ experience in commercial real estate, private equity, and funds management. He has successfully built, created and managed a variety of businesses and projects across a broad spectrum of asset classes over the last 40 years. Mr King brings deep familiarity with QIC, having previously served as a director from 2013 to 2019. He has previously held a range of board and advisory roles across commercial and civic organisations, including serving as Member of the Urban Futures Brisbane Board and Member of the Queen’s Wharf Precinct Committee.  Mr King also served as a Trustee on the Brisbane Girls Grammar School Board of Trustees from 2014 – 2025.

Gillian Brown

Ms Brown brings extensive experience in law, infrastructure, finance and governance, developed over a career spanning more than 40 years. She previously practised as a partner at MinterEllison, where she advised on a number of landmark transactions, and served as Chair of the firm for three years.  

Ms Brown’s former appointments include director roles at Queensland Treasury Corporation, Australian Rail Track Corporation, DBCT Holdings Pty Ltd and Bric Housing, reflecting deep experience across infrastructure, finance and complex regulated environments.

Justine Hickey

Ms Hickey is an experienced non-executive director with deep expertise in investment governance, superannuation and financial services. 

She has previously held senior board roles across listed investment, superannuation and not-for-profit organisations, including Australian Ethical Investments, Hastings Management, GPT Metro Office Fund, the Rio Tinto Staff Fund and Hyperion Flagship Investments, and also served as an Expert Board Advisor to Sunsuper.

Rob Jones

With more than 40 years’ experience in professional services, Mr Jones brings extensive expertise in audit, finance, governance and risk oversight. He served as Chairman of KPMG in Queensland from 2013 to 2017 and previously led the firm’s Audit practice in Brisbane.

Mr Jones has previously held a range of governance and advisory roles across the education, public and private sectors, with particular expertise in audit, risk management and institutional oversight.

Susan McDonald

Ms MacDonald is an experienced non-executive director with deep expertise in real estate, property funds management and asset management.

Her previous appointments include Global Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, Director of Landcom and Joint Deputy Chair of the Shopping Centre Council of Australia. Earlier in her executive career, Ms MacDonald held senior roles with Mirvac Group, Galileo Funds Management, AMP Shopping Centres and Lendlease in the United Kingdom.

Nick Minchin

The Hon Nick Minchin AO

Mr Minchin brings extensive experience in public policy, government and governance, developed over a distinguished career in Australian public life. He served in the Australian Senate for nearly two decades, including as Minister for Finance and Administration from 2001 to 2007.

Following his retirement from Federal politics, Mr Minchin was appointed Australian Consul-General in New York and later served a five-year term on the Foreign Investment Review Board. He also served as Chair of the Board of the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House.

Philip Noble

Mr Noble has more than 35 years’ experience in international banking and finance, with deep expertise in capital markets, treasury and institutional finance. He brings extensive experience in liquidity, funding and public sector investment oversight.

He served as Chief Executive Officer of Queensland Treasury Corporation from 2010 to 2022, following senior roles at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust. His former appointments include director roles at Queensland Treasury Holdings, Brisbane Port Holdings, DBCT Holdings, Queensland Airport Holdings (Mackay) and Credit Suisse.

Peter Dutton

Mr Dutton is a former Australian political leader and Cabinet Minister with extensive experience in public policy, national security and government. 

He served in the House of Representatives as the Member for Dickson from 2001 to 2025 and was Australia’s Leader of the Opposition from 2022 to 2025. During his time in office, he held senior ministerial portfolios including as Assistant Treasurer, and Health, Immigration and Border Protection, Home Affairs and Defence.

Mr Dutton served for 10 years on the Expenditure Review Committee responsible for compiling the Federal Budget, and served on the National Security Committee for six years.

Prior to his parliamentary career, Mr Dutton owned a successful family property development and childcare business. He also served as a Queensland Police officer for nine years.

Michael Choi

Mr Choi brings extensive experience in government, business and trade, with a background spanning public policy, engineering and property development. 

Mr Choi served as a Member of the Queensland Parliament from 2001 to 2012. During his parliamentary career, he held Assistant Minister responsibilities across Mines and Energy, National Resources, Trade and Multicultural Affairs. He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the people and Parliament of Queensland.

Ms Maher is an experienced non-executive director with expertise in law, financial services, superannuation and governance. A former partner of Corrs Chambers Westgarth, she has held a range of board appointments across commercial and charitable organisations. 

Ms Maher is a former director of Suncorp Insurance and Finance, WorkCover Queensland and Energy Super and previously served on the Board of Trustees of QSuper.
