People

Every decision we make has an impact on people.

From our employees and supply chains to the communities connected to QIC and our investee companies, we consider the people we impact, through our investments and activities.

Our Social Framework brings this commitment into focus. It encompasses all stakeholder groups and addresses the outcomes we seek to influence - protecting human rights, supporting our people and strengthening communities.

Learn more about our Social Framework in the 2024 QIC Sustainability Report.

First Nations

As one of the country’s largest institutional investment managers, we recognise that we have a role to play in Australia’s reconciliation movement. We are committed to leveraging our size, reach and capabilities to build on our reconciliation activities and support greater economic participation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Our Stretch RAP

Our Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) reaffirms our commitment to further embedding First Nations considerations within our business and operational practices. We aim to build upon the progress we have made to date, heightening our ambitions and extending our sphere of influence.

Through our First Nations Community Program we direct funding to co-create opportunities in partnership with First Nations peoples, organisations and communities with the aim of increasing economic participation and improving employment and educational outcomes for the people and communities we support.

Community

Through our QIC in the Community program, we invest in our communities to support the improvement of financial wellbeing, economic participation and prosperity.
