Accounts Receivable Officer
We currently have a great start up opportunity for an enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Property Finance team, part of QIC's largest investment boutique, QIC Global Real Estate. Reporting to the Shared Service Centre Manager, you will be part of an Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team who provide critical property focused finance support to QIC Global Real Estate.
In this role, your focus will be high volume bank statement receipting, ledger reconciliations, billings and month-end processes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills with our AR / AP team and Property Accountants in a commercial environment.
As we are not specifically seeking previous accounts receivable experience, this role would also suit university graduates. Our focus is more ensuring fit to the organisation as we continue to grow QIC.
To succeed in this role you would ideally possess:
• Degree qualifications in accounting or finance
• Strong computer skills – intermediate Excel / Word
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels of the business
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• A team player with initiative and energy to achieve goals
Desirable:
• Accounts receivable experience

Operational Risk Analyst
QIC currently has an outstanding full time opportunity for an Operational Risk Analyst to join our Corporate and Operational Risk team as part of the broader Organisational Risk, Legal and Tax business unit (ORLT).
Reporting to the Senior Operational Risk Analyst, your role will span across key areas of business continuity management, governance and risk management.
Specifically your focus will be:
• Responsibility for managing QIC’s Business Continuity Program (BCP)
• Assisting in developing and managing the implementation of an effective operational risk management framework and related policies and processes
• Execution of operational risk management processes including monitoring, resolving and reporting breaches and operational risk issues to protect and support the achievement of QIC’s strategic objectives
• Liaising as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, providing up-to-date, sound advice, information and implementation of initiatives to build internal capability to identify and manage operational risk and compliance issues
To succeed in this role you would ideally possess:
• Tertiary qualifications with a minimum 4-5 years' experience in a similar role managing business continuity management programs
• Sound knowledge of best practices covering financial services and operational risk and compliance principles
• Proven ability identifying, analysing and proactively resolving issues that impact an organisation’s operational risk and compliance obligations
• Basic understanding of legal and regulatory requirements relevant to investment activities and funds management
• Demonstrated ability to manage work both autonomously and knowledge share as part of a team to achieve deliverables
• Strong attention to detail, and be methodical and accurate with the ability to articulate complex matters in both written and verbal communications
• Ability to engage at all levels with initiative and energy
