Global Infrastructure

The Global Infrastructure team was established in January 2006, and comprises five infrastructure investment professionals. The team has over 50 years of infrastructure, investment management and banking experience.

Investment Strategy

QIC’s objective for infrastructure assets is to achieve a diversified portfolio of infrastructure investments across lifecycle, sector and geography. Investments are made directly and into externally managed funds. In Australia, we prefer direct investment, and globally, through externally managed funds with managers who provide strong co-investment opportunities.

Infrastructure assets we target include:

• Transport or patronage driven assets 
• Utilities or largely regulated assets 
• Social and community amenities 
• Competitive assets or market driven assets
