QIC Australian Equities
QIC has offered in-house Australian equities solutions since 1991. In 2006, the team was restructured to assist it to deliver higher levels of active returns or alpha. In 2009, QIC Australian Equities (QIC AE) was formally established as a specialist independent QIC boutique that focuses on the top 100 companies listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and specialises in comprehensive after-tax investing (ATI).
Investment approach
Since 2006, our robust, transparent and accountable process has delivered sustainable and consistent performance in both rising and falling markets.
In this time, we have built, implemented and refined the tools that integrate ATI into our investment process, which has enabled us to increase the net returns for our clients and their members.
Incorporating ESG into our investment process
As a signatory to the United National Principles for Responsible Investing, we believe that environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues can and do affect the performance of the companies we invest in. QIC has been actively involved in corporate governance issues for many years, and we are increasingly incorporating environmental and social aspects into our investment analysis and decision-making.
Investment solutions
We deliver a range of investment solutions to clients via discrete mandates and also via the QIC Active Large Companies Fund.

Notes
Past Performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance
Total Return is calculated by constructing a Total Value Index series or equivalent data. The index reflects percentage change in the value of continuing Scheme Holder’s investments assuming the reinvestment of all Distributions (if applicable) back into the Product (and no other acquisition or disposal/withdrawal). Daily returns are calculated from daily unit prices and the returns are expressed on a percentage per annum basis.
Benchmarks
QIC Australian Equities Fund = S&P/ASX 200 Index
