QIC Global Private Equity (QIC GPE) acts as an ‘in-house’ private equity team for a small, select group of institutional investors.

Operating with a strong principal investment mindset and uncompromising fiduciary standards, we develop, implement and adapt private equity solutions that deliver higher performance over time.

We have extensive global experience in all aspects of private equity investing. Our team comprises six investment professionals plus extensive support staff who are dedicated to meeting our clients’ needs.

Investment approach

QIC GPE’s core objective is to execute an investment strategy that will deliver superior long-term returns on a risk-adjusted basis. We tailor our portfolios to meet our clients’ asset/liability, currency, risk appetite, management expense ratio and tax characteristics.

With $2.1 billion of committed capital, our mandate is on track to reach its medium-term target of invested capital.

Our primary investment portfolio includes buyout, growth and venture capital investments with top-tier managers in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia. Opportunistic investments have also been made directly into companies and into the distressed investment sector.

We maintain a consistent and disciplined approach to developing relationships with a core portfolio of elite private equity managers. We source these managers through our global experience and internal research and via a proactive calling strategy. In many cases, we have worked with targeted managers for close to 20 years.
